Extension services
Extensions add length, fullness, or both, fitted and color-matched to blend with your own hair so they look and feel like yours. I am DreamCatchers certified, and I match the method to your hair and lifestyle rather than forcing one approach on everyone. New clients start with a consultation.
What I offer
Starting rates. The hair itself is a separate cost we plan together at your consultation.
The methods I work with
A quick clarification, because the terms get mixed up. The install I most often recommend is a sewn-in weft, where the hair comes on a weft that is sewn in close to your scalp. "Hand-tied" actually describes how the weft itself is made, not the install. There are a few weft types:
- Machine wefts are sewn on a machine. They are sturdy and a good value.
- Hand-tied wefts are sewn together by hand, so they sit flatter and feel lighter.
- Genius wefts are the newer option. They use more of a bonded construction, giving the stability of a machine weft with the lightweight feel of a hand-tied weft.
I am also educated in tape-in, k-tip, and i-tip extensions, so if a different method suits your hair better, we have options. We choose together at your consultation.
What to expect
- Consultation. New clients start here. We look at your hair, talk through length, fullness, color, and lifestyle, and choose the right method.
- Color match and plan. I match the hair to your color, or plan any color work, so the blend looks natural.
- Install. I fit and place the extensions carefully so they are comfortable and secure.
- Maintenance. Sewn-in wefts get moved up every several weeks as your hair grows, with care guidance in between.

I am DreamCatchers certified and hold the certificate. DreamCatchers is the method I am certified in, and I am educated across tape-in, k-tip, and i-tip techniques as well, so I can recommend honestly rather than sell you on the only thing I know.
DreamCatchers is my certified line, and I can also source other quality extension brands when they fit your needs, including Hot Heads, Bellami, and Babe, among others.

With the right products, gentle handling, and regular maintenance appointments, your extensions stay comfortable, blended, and healthy, and so does your natural hair underneath. I walk every client through a simple routine at the install so you know exactly how to keep them looking their best.

Booking and consultations
New extension clients book a consultation first so we can plan properly and order the right hair. Install and maintenance is booked after that. Cancellation terms are on the policies page.

Are extensions damaging to my hair?
Not when they are fitted and cared for properly, which is exactly what the consultation and the right method are for. I match the weight and method to your hair so your natural hair is supported, not stressed, and I will tell you honestly if extensions are not the right call for your hair right now.
How long do extensions last?
The hair itself can last several months to a year or more with good care, depending on the type and how you treat it. Sewn-in wefts need a maintenance appointment, often every six to eight weeks, to move them up as your hair grows.
What is the maintenance like?
Plan on a maintenance, or move-up, appointment every several weeks so the wefts stay close to the scalp as your hair grows, plus gentle daily care at home. We go over the full routine at your consultation.
Can I style extensions like my natural hair?
Yes. You can wash, heat-style, and put up quality extensions much like your own hair, with a few care adjustments I will walk you through so they last.
Which method is right for me?
That is the whole point of the consultation. The best method depends on your hair type, density, lifestyle, and goal. I will recommend between sewn-in wefts and tape, k-tip, or i-tip based on what will look best and wear best for you.
How much do extensions cost?
A consultation is $20, and install and maintenance is priced per hour starting at $150, since the time depends on the method and the amount of hair. The hair itself is a separate cost we plan together at the consultation.
