Terms of service

These terms apply to all services provided by K Bish Designs (Kelanie Bishop, licensed cosmetologist, 512 3rd St Chair 2, Hudson, WI 54016). By booking an appointment you agree to these terms.

Appointments

All services are by appointment only. Booking an appointment is a request; it is confirmed only when you receive written or verbal confirmation from Kelanie. Appointments are held for you — please arrive on time, as late arrivals may result in a shortened service or rescheduling.

Cancellations and no-shows

Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice and no-shows may result in a cancellation fee or a deposit requirement for future bookings, at Kelanie's discretion.

Deposits

Some services — particularly color, extensions, and special events — may require a non-refundable deposit to hold the appointment. Deposit amounts and payment instructions will be communicated at the time of booking. Deposits are applied toward your service total.

Note: online deposit collection is not yet live. When available, it will be disclosed at the time of booking.

Patch tests

Certain chemical services (including some color and extension adhesive applications) may require a patch test 48 hours before your appointment. Kelanie will advise you at the time of booking if a patch test applies. Services will not be performed without a cleared patch test where one is required.

Results and consultations

Hair services are personal and results vary based on your hair's history, texture, and condition. Kelanie will consult with you before and during any service to align on realistic expectations. If a desired result cannot be achieved safely in a single visit, a multi-session plan will be discussed. K Bish Designs does not offer refunds on completed services; concerns about a service should be raised within 7 days so they can be addressed.

Children and guests

The studio is a small, one-chair space. Please plan accordingly — bringing additional guests or young children may not always be practical. Contact Kelanie in advance if you have questions.

Health and safety

Please disclose any known allergies, scalp conditions, or recent chemical services before your appointment. Kelanie reserves the right to decline or modify a service if proceeding would be unsafe for you or your hair.

Photography and social media

Kelanie may photograph finished looks for her portfolio and social media (primarily Instagram). If you would prefer not to be photographed, please let her know at any time — no reason needed.
